The Audacity
I started my work as a novice social worker in the Child Welfare system after participating in the amazing CWEB program (Child Welfare Education for Baccalaureates). After many years of serving children and families in Delaware County, Pennsylvania, I took a leap of faith and began working as a Medical Social Worker in one of North Philadelphia’s busiest Level 1 trauma hospitals. With the unexpected closing of this hospital, my work transitioned to the Chester County Community, providing an array of services from mental health in an inpatient psychiatric facility, to social work services in the homes of consumers as an integral part of a skilled care team. I had the AUDACITY to dream big, so here we are!
